David Mewes Building Services embarked on a mission to carefully restore and enhance this historical gem. Our skilled team meticulously closed up existing door openings and installed new windows, capturing the essence of its original design.

We also took great care to rebuild walls in the Jail area to mirror their original character. The fort’s roof and turret towers received a much-needed renewal with a fresh layer of durable asphalt.

Safety and authenticity were paramount, as we replaced handrails around the fort’s roof. Slough Fort now proudly stands as a blend of its rich history and the expert craftsmanship of David Mewes Building Services.

Kings School Rochester

At the historic Kings School in Rochester, our team at David Mewes Building Services undertook a diverse array of vital projects. These included the installation of a new flat roof on the boarding house, breathing new life into the aged church with meticulous repointing, and a complete refurbishment of the dining hall. We also rejuvenated the boarding house with a fresh coat of redecoration, all while respecting the Grade 2 listed status of the building.

In 2021, we embarked on an exciting home transformation project in the picturesque town of Strood. This ambitious undertaking involved creating an expansive rear extension, turning a homeowner’s vision into reality. With a total project value of £68k, we worked diligently to renew and revamp various aspects of the property.

The heart of the home received a fresh lease of life as we installed a brand-new kitchen, complete with modern amenities and elegant finishes. In addition to the kitchen renovation, we constructed a new garage, providing valuable space for storage and convenience.

To ensure a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors, we implemented a block and beam area for the garden, where homeowners could enjoy leisurely moments in a beautifully landscaped setting. Rochester Residence Enhancement

In the heart of charming Rochester, we had the privilege of working on a home improvement project that revitalized the front of a residence. Additionally, we paid attention to every detail by installing a new fascia and soffit, ensuring a cohesive and polished look. Chatham Lorry Park Renovation

Additionally, we initiated an essential upgrade by removing the old metal fence and replacing it with a state-of-the-art acoustic fence.
